Kids, We Need Your Votes!
Celebrate Children’s Book Week (May 13-19) by coming in to the library and checking out some of your favorite children’s books! Revisit past favorites or discover a new book that you will want to read over and over again. During this week, kids can vote for the favorite book character. We will unveil Itasca’s favorite children’s book character the following week.

April was National Poetry Month and to celebrate the Youth Department had a contest and drawing. Congratulations to our two winners, Zachary and Marisa! Thank you so much to all of you who participated!
Bluestem Book Bonanza
You are invited to preview the new 2014 Bluestem Award nominees at this program through games, crafts, and other activities based on each of the books. Registration is required.

Tilly and Friends Storytime
Come on into the little yellow house and have some fun with Tilly and her friends! We’ll enjoy stories, songs, crafts, and more based on the Tilly and Friends books by Polly Dunbar. Geared to ages 3-6, but younger children may attend with an adult. Registration is required.
